5.3 ounces of home grown, hand-spun single-ply bulky Wensleydale wool yarn, natural variegated silver colors.
The fiber for this yarn was produced by our flock of Wensleydalex sheep. They come in a variety of colors, often depending on age. This skein weighs @ 5.3 ounces and is about 88 yards in length. There is one other larger skein of the exact same fiber (Item #NYS 23). For spinners, we have many colors of the Wensleydale roving available. For knitters, it is variegated all natural silvers, spun into a silky bulky single ply yarn. This would make a great addition to a any weaving, and would make a beautiful yarn if over-dyed. Winter is coming – you might want to make some warm mitts or a hat!
